奇跡
An intimate omakase experience where each course is a revelation — seasonal, precise, and crafted with the reverence of a lifetime devoted to the craft.

The Way of Omakase
At Kiseki, sourcing is not a step in the process — it is the foundation of everything. Each morning begins with a reverent selection of the finest seasonal ingredients, many flown directly from Japan's legendary markets. We believe that extraordinary cuisine begins long before the knife touches the board.
Seasonality is our compass. The Japanese concept of shun — the precise moment when an ingredient reaches its peak — guides every decision. Our menu is never fixed; it breathes with the rhythms of the ocean and the earth, shifting weekly to honor nature's fleeting gifts.
The chef-guest relationship is sacred. To sit at our counter is to enter a dialogue — unspoken, intuitive, deeply personal. Each course is composed in real time, reading your pace, your preferences, your unfolding experience. This is not dining. This is entrusting.

“A transcendent omakase experience that redefines what sushi can be in New York. Chef Tanaka’s knife work is nothing short of breathtaking — each piece a meditation on texture and restraint.”
The New York Times · 2024
“Kiseki doesn’t just serve fish — it serves reverence. The twelve-seat counter feels less like a restaurant and more like a chapel devoted to the art of Edomae sushi.”
Eater New York · 2024
“In a city drowning in omakase, Kiseki rises above with an almost supernatural understanding of seasonality. The shirako course alone is worth the pilgrimage to Williamsburg.”
Bon Appétit · 2023
“There is a moment, midway through Chef Tanaka’s twenty-course progression, when the room goes completely silent. That silence is the highest compliment a diner can pay.”
The New Yorker · 2023
